The Polaris ACE 150 EFI is a single-seat youth side-by-side introduced for the 2017 model year, designed for riders age 10 and older. It is the only single-seat youth UTV on the market with a protective cab frame, modeled after the full-size Polaris ACE platform. The ACE 150 uses a 150cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine with a fully automatic CVT transmission, 2WD chain drive to the rear wheels, and a parent-adjustable speed limiter with four settings (10, 15, 22, and 29 mph). At approximately 572 lb dry weight with a 48-inch width, it bridges the gap between youth ATVs and larger UTVs. Sun Coast carries used ACE 150 parts from salvage units as they come through our Florida facility, where each component is inspected, individually photographed, and tracked under its own SKU.
Polaris ACE 150 generation and parts compatibility
The ACE 150 EFI has been produced with minimal changes since its 2017 introduction. A limited-edition LE model was introduced in late 2017 with color-matched cage, springs, A-arms, and bumpers but was mechanically identical to the standard version. The 150cc fuel-injected engine, CVT transmission, chassis, and suspension have remained consistent across all model years. Body panels, cage components, seats, and accessories interchange across the full production run. The ACE 150 is a standalone youth platform that shares no components with any other Polaris vehicle. Despite the "ACE" name connecting it to the adult Polaris ACE 325/500/570/900 single-seat ATVs, the youth ACE 150 is a completely different machine in every respect: different engine, different frame, different drivetrain, different scale. It also shares nothing with the Phoenix 200, RZR 170, or any other Polaris youth model; each youth vehicle in the Polaris lineup is a distinct platform.
Common Polaris ACE 150 failure points and replacement parts
Drive belt wear: The CVT belt on the ACE 150 is the primary mechanical wear item. Youth vehicles see aggressive use patterns (frequent starts, stops, and low-speed full-throttle operation) that stress the belt more than steady-speed riding. Replacement belt availability and ease of installation are important for parents maintaining these machines.
Speed limiter fuse configuration: The four-position speed limiter is controlled by a fuse configuration. Owners occasionally report confusion about the fuse positions or accidental speed setting changes. The system is simple but the fuses should be checked if the vehicle does not reach expected speeds or seems limited unexpectedly.
Plastic body panel and cage damage: Youth vehicles inevitably contact obstacles, walls, and other vehicles during the learning process. The protective cab cage is a major safety feature but can bend in impacts. Body panels, bumpers, and cage components are the most commonly replaced parts on the ACE 150, typically from impact damage rather than mechanical failure.
Battery and charging: Youth vehicles frequently sit for extended periods between use (school year, weather). Battery drain and sulfation from storage are common issues. A battery maintainer is recommended for any ACE 150 that is not ridden regularly.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Does the ACE 150 share parts with other Polaris youth vehicles
No. The ACE 150 is a standalone platform. It shares no engine, frame, body, or drivetrain components with the Phoenix 200, RZR 170, Sportsman 110, Outlaw 110, or any other Polaris youth vehicle. Each Polaris youth model is a distinct design with its own parts ecosystem.
Q: Does the ACE 150 share parts with the full-size Polaris ACE
No. Despite sharing the "ACE" name, the youth ACE 150 EFI is an entirely different machine from the adult Polaris ACE 325/500/570/900. The youth model is smaller in every dimension, uses a different engine, different frame, different drivetrain, and different body panels. Nothing interchanges between the youth and adult ACE platforms.
Q: Have there been any significant changes to the ACE 150 across model years
No. The ACE 150 EFI has remained mechanically unchanged since its 2017 introduction. Year-to-year differences are limited to color options. Parts from any ACE 150 model year fit any other year.
