The Drifter 1500 shares its 1470cc fuel-injected V-twin engine, five-speed transmission, and shaft drive with the Vulcan 1500 Classic FI and other VN1500 FI variants. Engine internals, fuel injection components, transmission, shaft drive, and most electrical systems interchange between the Drifter 1500 and the Classic FI.
