The BMW G 310 R, born from a collaboration between BMW and TVS Motor Company, is a sleek entry-level standard motorcycle, marking BMW's foray into the sub-300 cc segment. Sporting a nimble four-valve 313 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, it packs a punch with 25 kW power and 28 N⋅m torque. Making its grand debut in November 2015, this two-wheeled gem hit the global streets for eager riders in 2018. And guess what? The BMW G450X venture took flight as BMW Motorrad aimed to make a mark in the competitive 450 four-stroke enduro class, challenging the dominance of established manufacturers. Learning from the lukewarm reception of the G650X Challenge, BMW set out to create a nimble, powerful, and more conventionally designed machine. The G450X, unveiled in November 2007, showcased BMW's determination to position itself not just as an enduro-class motorcycle but also a contender in the dual-sport realm. The bike's debut at the EICMA 2007 trade fair in Milan marked the beginning of its journey to conquer the trails and win over riders.

In 2008, BMW rejuvenated the F650GS as the G650GS, assembling it in China with a power boost to 53 hp and added features. The G650GS Sertão, a more off-road capable version, joined the lineup in 2012, filling the void left by the discontinued F650GS Dakar. Regrettably, both models bid farewell in 2017, closing a chapter on BMW's spirited off-road ventures.
