Used Buell Parts

Innovative design is what the Buell brand brought. It’s a shame that Harley Davidson didn’t give them more of a chance after buying them out. Now however, your bike just increased value. It’s rare, the good kind of rare. The kind of rare you’ll want to hold onto for a long time. The part prices are rare too. In the good way. It’s rare to see such a limited bike have part prices this low. That’s what we strive for here at Sun Coast. We offer great prices on Buell motorcycle parts, including used Buell parts for your M, S, or X series.
112554

The Buell 1125R, a sport bike made by Buell Motorcycle Company, debuted in July 2007 for the 2008 model year. Production ceased in October 2009, but founder Erik Buell launched Erik Buell Racing in November 2009, initially focusing on race-only versions of the 1125R. Powered by a 1,125 cc (68.7 cu in) Helicon V-twin engine from BRP-Powertrain (Rotax) of Austria, the liquid-cooled engine boasts 146 hp (109 kW) and a 10,500 rpm limit. The bike's design features include a patented frame that holds the fuel, a unique single, eight-piston front brake called ZTL2, and an exhaust under the engine for increased volume. The 1125R emphasizes mass centralization, using a drive belt instead of a chain for its transmission.

Blast12

The Buell Blast, produced from 2000 to 2009, was designed as an entry-level motorcycle to introduce new riders to the sport. It featured a number of user-friendly design elements, including an automatically tensioned belt final drive, self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, and an automatic choke carburetor. The engine design was based on Harley's Evolution Sportster engine but with one cylinder removed. The Blast's bodywork was made from Surlyn, a durable material used in golf balls, to protect it in case of drops. The Blast was used in Harley-Davidson's Rider's Edge New Rider program and was discontinued in 2009, with a limited number of crushed Blast cubes offered for sale as collector's items in 2010.

M218

The Buell M2 Cyclone was like the Goldilocks of the Buell lineup, not too fast and light like the S1 Lightning, and not too heavy and comfy like the S3 Thunderbolt. It had a bigger seat than the Lightning for a more cushy ride, but it was still lighter and faster than the Thunderbolt, finding the perfect balance. You could only get it with a 1,203 cc engine and five-speed transmission, and it had a strong tubular CrMo steel frame. It was the "just right" choice for riders who wanted a mix of performance and comfort.

S133

The Buell S1 Lightning, a more basic sportbike compared to the S3 Thunderbolt and M2 Cyclone, was only produced for three years with a limited run of 5000 units. It had variants like the S1W White Lightning, which featured a larger tank and Thunderstorm cylinder heads, boosting its power by 10 hp (7.5 kW).

S2 / S361

The Buell S3 Thunderbolt, produced from 1997 to 2003, was a sport-touring motorcycle based on a chassis derived from the Road Warrior. It featured a Sportster engine and a two-seater design. Buell initially projected sales of 300 units but sold 1,399 in the first year due to its popularity. The bike's 1,203 cc air-cooled V-twin engine outputted 91 hp (68 kW) in 1997 and 101 hp (75 kW) in later years, thanks to revised cam profiles and new Thunderstorm cylinder heads. The S3 had a half fairing for wind protection, while the S3T model added lower fairing extensions for better wind protection to the rider's legs, along with hard saddlebags that could be color-matched to the bike and were available in "wide" or "narrow" options.
