Used Ryker Parts

Sun Coast Cycle Sports stocks used OEM parts for the Can-Am Ryker, BRP's entry-level three-wheeled roadster produced since 2019. The Ryker uses a 600cc Rotax ACE twin-cylinder engine (base model) or 900cc Rotax ACE triple-cylinder engine (Ryker Sport and Rally), paired with a CVT automatic transmission and Y-frame chassis with two front wheels and one rear drive wheel. Designed as an accessible entry into three-wheeled riding, the Ryker features Vehicle Stability System (VSS), ABS, traction control, and a modular accessory system. Each part is individually inspected, photographed, and ships from our Odessa, Florida facility.

Ryker generation and parts compatibility

ModelYearsEngineKey details
Ryker 6002019-present600cc Rotax ACE twin, fuel-injectedEntry-level. 47hp. CVT. Y-frame. Two front wheels, one rear.
Ryker 900 Sport2019-present900cc Rotax ACE triple, fuel-injected82hp. Same chassis as 600 with larger engine. Sport-tuned.
Ryker 900 Rally2019-present900cc Rotax ACE triple, fuel-injectedSame 900 engine. Rally Edition adds handguards, taller windshield, adventure styling.

The Ryker 600 and 900 share the same Y-frame chassis, CVT, front suspension, brakes, and most bodywork. The primary difference is the engine: 600cc twin versus 900cc triple. Engine components do not cross over between the two displacements. Chassis, suspension, bodywork, and most accessory parts interchange across all Ryker variants.

The Ryker 900's triple-cylinder engine is related to the naturally aspirated version of the engine used in the Can-Am Spyder F3. Some engine internals may cross over between the Ryker 900 and Spyder F3. The Ryker 600's twin-cylinder engine is not shared with any Spyder model.

The Ryker does not share its chassis with any Can-Am Spyder model. The Y-frame and modular design are unique to the Ryker platform. Spyder bodywork, suspension, and chassis components do not fit the Ryker.

Common Ryker failure points and replacement parts

CVT belt wear: The CVT belt is the primary drivetrain consumable. Urban riding with frequent stops and acceleration cycles wears belts faster than highway cruising. Belt replacements are the most common drivetrain service item.

Bodywork and panel damage: The Ryker's modular panel system is designed for easy customization but the panels are also vulnerable to parking lot and low-speed tip-over damage. Body panels, particularly the front fenders and side panels, are common replacement items.

Brake maintenance: The twin front wheels each have disc brakes that require periodic pad and rotor service. The rear single wheel's brake also needs attention. Brake pads and rotors are routine maintenance items.

Electronics and sensor faults: The Vehicle Stability System relies on multiple sensors including wheel speed, lean angle, and throttle position. Sensor faults can disable safety systems and require component replacement on higher-mileage machines.

Front suspension: The twin front wheels' independent suspension sees different wear patterns than single-front-wheel motorcycles. Front shock absorbers, A-arm bushings, and wheel bearings are periodic maintenance items.

Accessory mounting hardware: The modular accessory system (LinQ mounting points) and its associated hardware can loosen with vibration. Mounting brackets, LinQ hardware, and accessory attachment points are common replacement items.

  • Body panels and fenders
  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Front suspension components
  • VSS sensors and electronics
  • LinQ accessory mounting hardware
  • Windshield (various heights)
  • Battery

Frequently asked questions

Q: Does the Ryker share parts with the Can-Am Spyder?

The Ryker 900's triple-cylinder engine is related to the Spyder F3's engine, and some internals may cross over. The chassis, bodywork, suspension, and most components are completely different between the Ryker and any Spyder model. The Ryker uses a unique Y-frame design while Spyders use a different frame architecture.

Q: Are Ryker 600 and Ryker 900 chassis parts interchangeable?

Yes. The Y-frame chassis, CVT, front suspension, brakes, bodywork, and most accessories are shared between the 600 and 900. Only the engine itself differs between the two displacements.

Q: Is the Ryker a motorcycle?

The Ryker is classified as an autocycle or three-wheeled vehicle depending on the state. It has two front wheels and one rear wheel, automatic CVT transmission, and does not require a motorcycle license in many US states. Licensing requirements vary by state.
